Business Development Manager
A leader in automotive retailing solutions, Auto Intelix provides cost effective solutions that enable automobile dealers across Canada in acquiring qualified customers and increase sales.
We are presently seeking a Business Development Manager for our Dealer Services division. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the business development of our solutions to automobile dealers.
Your Mission
1. Developing new business.
2. Account expansion and upselling.
3. Account retention.
You will be an ambassador for Auto Intelix's solutions, and an educator for your clients, helping them understand the depth of our services and obtain maximum leverage and revenue generating potential. When you aren't working with your existing clients, you'll be developing new ones. You will spend around 60% of your time on new business development.
A Typical Week
You will be a true road warrior and spend upwards of 80% of your time out in the field. A typical week might begin with a team "meeting" from your home office. You'll spend the balance of the week out in the field meeting with two to three clients every day. This might include an onsite meeting with a General Manager that could benefit from utilizing a broader range of Auto Intelix's services. Then, you're onto another meeting with prospective new clients. An afternoon meeting might involve a hands-on training session with an Internet Director. You will consult with the Director on more effective ways of converting leads into appointments. These are high leverage sessions, as just minor changes in a marketing strategy can translate into hundreds of thousands of dollars in increased sales.
Requirements for this Position

Experience in one of the following sectors; automotive sales, dealer advertising and media sales, CRM tools for dealers, business products for dealers and other dealer product/service sales.

Experience in outside sales prospecting and account management.

Willingness to travel throughout the territory.

The organization and self-motivation required to work autonomously from a home office.

Growing Your Territory

Develop relationships with dealers and dealer groups and aggressively grow sales through prospecting and cold calls.

Maintain relationships with existing customers through effective account management.

Upsell dealer customers with new services.

Make monthly visits in order to maintain a high level of customer service through training, customer support and ensure their understanding of our products.

Ensure current dealer satisfaction by responding quickly and accurately to dealer problems, concerns or needs.

Track progress and ensure results progress through phone, email and in-store visits.
